The website calendar has just been updated with tentative dates for 10 Winter Training Rides and the SLO LSD Winter Training Camp! The calendar posts will be updated as more details (i.e. ride start times, routes, pace, etc) become available, but we wanted the team to at least SAVE THESE DATES and let you know that team rides have been scheduled and are in the works! Included in this list are a series of three special Joint Winter Training Rides with VSRT (Valley Spokesmen Racing Team). These are the rides for FSB members that Doug announced at the Team Appreciation Night, they should be great training for those who are interested in racing next year. Tentative dates for the FSB/VSRT rides are Nov. 22, Dec. 13, and Jan. 17. We also added special annual rides enjoyed by club members – the post kit fitting ride on Nov. 9, the traditional Thanksgiving Morning Ride, and the Del Puerto Canyon New Year’s Day ride. The dates for the Early Bird Crit Training Series in Fremont have not been announced yet, but they are typically every Sunday in January. If you plan on racing next year, this series is highly recommended and is the perfect place to learn and practice racing skills before the 2015 race season kicks off.
