New to bike racing? Been tearing up the Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday rides and want to strut your stuff into the record books? Plenty of room in the Women’s E4 and Men’s E5 fields to do just that. No need to buy a $10 one-day racing license at this Sunday’s, April 14th, Turlock Lake Road Race, because we’ll cover it for you. Such a deal!
Online registration is now CLOSED, but race day registration is available! Check BikeReg.com for a list of confirmed racers, current field sizes and waitlist status.
The Turlock Lake Road Race, Edition 3.0, is only 2 weeks away! Make sure you’re registered at Bikereg.com: https://www.bikereg.com/Net/18621
It’s going to be another great event – excellent course, incredible race venue, more cash and prizes. Spread the word…we’ll see you there!
Make sure to pick up this month’s edition of Turlock, Modesto, Oakdale or Ceres Living Magazines! There’s a nice article about Ciclistas del Valle and the Turlock Lake Road Race in the March issue. Thanks to the club members who came out for the photo shoot. You can also view the magazines online by visiting the Living Series Magazines website.
Mark your calendars, the official Fun Sport Bike Cycling Team photo will be taken on Sunday, February 24th at 9am at the location of our title sponsor, Fun Sport Bikes in Modesto. We’ve taken the race calendar into consideration and tried to pick a day and give enough notice so that we have a large turnout. We are doing it early in the day because the parking fills up in front of the shop later in the afternoon. Please arrive on time.
A photo of the newly formed FSB Race Squad and head shots for the website will be taken on this day as well. In addition, a photo of the FSB Women’s Development Squad will be taken, which will eliminate the need for a separate photo shoot like we did last year. Wear the NEW kit! If you are new, you’ll need to borrow one as we’ve done in past years. We don’t want a mix of old and new kits.
The Sunday shop ride that is usually scheduled for 2:30 will be moved, and will depart from the shop after the photo shoot is complete. If the route changes for this day, Joey will post a revised route prior to the ride.
