A little rain didn’t stop members from attending our first skills clinic of the year with John Cheetham of Performance Cycle Coaching on February 8th. We heard all kinds of positive feedback from attendees who enjoyed learning valuable skills from an experienced and well respected racer and cycling coach. Good news…the second clinic is rapidly approaching on Saturday, March 7th, 2015 and there are still open spots remaining! The Racing Skills Clinic will help you improve your cornering, descending, pack skills, and sprinting and get you ready for the riding/racing season. You must register in advance online at USA Cycling. The cost of the skills clinic is only $35 and includes not only a half day of instruction, but also coffee and pastries in the morning and lunch in the afternoon. It will be held at Sierra View Elementary School in Oakdale, CA from 8:00am – 2:00pm. You must have a current USAC license or purchase a one-day license for $10. As an added bonus, CdV members in good standing, who must purchase a one-day license to attend, will be reimbursed the $10 1-day license fee after completion of the clinic.
