Meet & Greet Ride #1 Coming Up on October 18th!

This upcoming Saturday, October 18th, is the first of our recruiting Meet & Greet rides.  It is an opportunity for us to meet and talk to prospective members and for them to check out what CdV is all about.  If you have friends, buddies, acquaintances or anyone who you think would be interested in CdV, please pass this on to them, bring them or let them know about the ride and that everyone is welcome to come.

We are hoping for a good team showing, please make an effort to come if you can.  The link to the ride is listed below.  This is a short, casual, no-drop ride at a conversational pace.  We will be regrouping at several points.  As previously posted, the ride will be leaving from the Starbucks in Oakdale (325 E F St) at 9am.  NOTE: If there is anyone who wants additional mileage, Doug Vrieling will be leading a faster ride/loop after the first loop is over.

New Custom FSB Cycling Team Gear

A few lucky members at last night’s crit workout caught a glimpse of our brand new custom embroidered FSB Cycling Team gear! We will be raffling off a few of these items at our Team Appreciation Night (Year-End Party/Meeting), for current members and those who plan on joining, on Oct. 22 at Surla’s (please RSVP). We will have order forms available that night and once available, it will be added as a download link on this website as well. Items available include hats, hoodies, polos as well as short and long sleeve t-shirts. We’ve also worked out a deal with the embroidery shop (Shirt World at 4620 N Star Way in Modesto) which will allow members to bring in their own items to be embroidered (jackets, bags, etc) and you will only be charged for the cost of embroidery ($10.50 plus tax). CdV has already covered the cost of getting two logos digitized there.  Both options can be see in the photo, one is for lighter garments and the other for darker ones. Turn around time depends on how busy they are, but I would estimate approximately two weeks. Thanks and hope you enjoy the new swag!
